Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is still a few months away, in the meantime, new images from the film have been released, according to Making Star Wars.
The new pictures, some you can see below, appear in the latest issue of Empire magazine. Most of the new images highlight the characters closely involved in the rebellion.
New Rogue One Photos
Among the images? A new shot of Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso with Cassian Ando (Diego Luna) and K-2SO (Alan Tudyk). We get a close-up shot of Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), the hot-headed lead pilot for the Rebels. There’s also a behind-the-scenes shot with director Gareth Edwards, Jones and Luna on set.

A Star Wars Story
Rogue One tells they the story of a group of resistance fighters who unite to steal plans to the Death Star. Jyn Erso (Jones) is a young rebel who is recruited to join the team.
She is joined by Rebel officer Captain Cassian Andor (Luna), assassin Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen) and Bodhi Rook (Ahmed), the Rebels’ lead pilot. Rounding out the cast: Tudyk as the droid K-2SO, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera and Ben Mendelsohn as the main antagonist, Director Orson Krennic.
Gareth Edwards (Monsters, Godzilla) directs. Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy wrote the screenplay. Kathleen Kennedy produced.
The film underwent four weeks of reshoots this summer, but that hasn’t affected its release date.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters on December 16.
